This golf course was designed by Bob Mcfarland one of America's most accomplished golf course designer. He designed this golf course to provide a challenging game for the accomplished golfer. Requiring skill and stategy to overcome the challenge. This course will provide a fair and pleasureable round of golf to the average or the begining player.
Despite its name there are few hills around here. The course was principally designed to service a large housing development. Most of this course is surrounded by water and the designer has used it to good effect on this rather flat layout.
This makes it essential to hit straight on many of the long par-four holes and some of the par fives where water runs along the entire left side of the fairways. The course is well maintained and the clubhouse facilities are good.
